It's car seat safety week and today is about recalls. There are times that car seats can be recalled for various reasons. There are several ways you can check to see if your child's car seat is recalled. Every car seat will have a sticker with the car seat name, manufacturer date, model name, and model number. You will need this information to check for recalls.
Warranty card- each car seat comes with a warranty post card. Fill out the required information and mail it. It comes with the postage already paid! You can also use the online method that is listed on the warranty card to register your car seat.
NHTSA- has an online website to check for car seat recalls. Click here for NHTSA recalls.
Manufacturer Websites- will post any recalls they may have.
