On November 28, 2023, at 1833 hours, Pocono Township Police Officers responded to a domestic in progress with a firearm involving a boyfriend & girlfriend at 21 Ski Side Drive, Tannersville, Pa 18372. 

When officers arrived on scene, they found both parties had sustained gunshot wounds. The male, identified as Kyle Campbell Worrell a 39-year-old from Tannersville, was pronounced deceased on scene and the female, Leilani Ramos a 36-year-old from Tannersville, was later pronounced deceased at Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg. 

On November 29^th, 2023, at 0800 hours, autopsies were held for Ramos and Campbell-Worrell at the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office.

Ramos' cause of death was determined to be from multiple gunshot wounds and the manner of death was ruled a homicide. The cause of death for Campbell-Worrell was determined to be from a gunshot wound to the head and the manner of death was ruled a suicide.

This was an isolated domestic violence incident and there is no threat to the public. The investigation is ongoing regarding the motive.
