On April 7, 2023 at 1058 am, Officers from Pocono Township Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a Hyundai sedan for a equipment and moving violations. Through further investigation, the passenger, Gary Weikel a 51 year old male from Scotrun, was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and suspected heroin. Charges for possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia were filed.
