On November 11th, 2022, at approximately 0816 hours, Pocono Township Police Department was dispatched to Gap View Drive in Scotrun for a report of a fight. Officers received reports that a female was kicking another female in the face while on the ground. Upon arrival Officers spoke to an elderly female victim who had suffered severe injuries to the left side of her face. Officers were able to identify the defendant, Shannon Wallace, by speaking to the victim and witnesses. The victim stated she was walking home when Wallace attacked her randomly without being provoked. Officers were able to locate Wallace at her residence and took her into custody. Wallace was transported to Monroe County Correctional Facility on Aggravated Assault and other related charges.
