On August 1st 2022 Pocono Township Police Officers conducted a stop on a GMC Envoy on Railroad Avenue near Route 715 for a traffic violation. Officers made contact with the driver of the vehicle Alan E VEST, the Defendant. VEST provided Pocono Township Officers with a false name and date of birth when contacted. Officers were able to determine his true identity he was later found to have two warrants out of Monroe County. 

VEST was then placed under arrest and found to have suspected Methamphetamine in his pocket. A  search was done on his vehicle where officers located digitial scales, packaging material and marijuana. 

VEST was then placed into Monroe County Correctional Facility on his warrants and additional charges.
