On September 11, 2022, at approximately 1620 hours, the Pocono Township Police Department responded to the CVS in Tannersville for a female passed out inside a Chevrolet Trax.  The witness advised the female was drinking something from a clear bottle, and now was passed out at the wheel in the parking lot.  Witnesses advised that the female attempted to back out of the parking spot and almost ran into other vehicles.

Police contacted Sarah M Stackhouse, the driver and sole occupant.  While speaking to Stackhouse police observed the odor of alcoholic beverage coming from inside the vehicle.  Stackhouse had slurred speech and blood shoot glassy eyes.  Stackhouse advised that she had been drinking wine.

Stackhouse was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.  Charges pending.
