On April 29th, 2023, at approximately 7:47pm. Officers of The Pocono Township Police Department were at Camelback Lodge investigating an incident when they were informed of an altercation inside the Aquatopia Waterpark.

Officers entered the waterpark and observed Kristin Shaw, a 42-year-old female from New York, NY., and Shayvonne Rhodes, a 37-year-old female from New York, NY., engaged in an altercation with Aquatopia Security. The two appeared to be highly intoxicated and both refused to stop yelling and cursing in full view of the public, despite many warnings. Both women were detained and separated, both admitted they had been drinking.

As a result, Shaw was placed under arrest and taken to the Monroe County Correctional Facility to await arraignment. Charges were filed on Rhodes.
