On August 23rd, 2025 Officers of the Pocono Township Police Department were dispatched to a road rage incident that occurred on Route 715 near the Jackson Township Line. The caller, and victim, advised that a male was driving recklessly behind him. When the caller let him pass, the male pointed a firearm at him. Officers conducted a traffic stop with the vehicle and identified the driver as Ty Reitz, of Catasauqua PA.

A Glock pistol was recovered and charges for simple assault and recklessly endangering another person filed.
