On October 30th, 2022, at approximately 1055 hours, Pocono Township Police were dispatched to the Dunkin Donuts located at 2055 SR0611 in Swiftwater, for a reported male stealing money from the tip jars. Upon arrival, Officers located a male that matched the description of the suspect in the parking lot of the business. The suspect was identified as 18-year-old Tahleek Ortiz of East Orange NJ. An investigation revealed that Ortiz reached over the counter and took a tip jar and left the store.  The tip jar was later located stashed under a vehicle in the parking lot. Ortiz was placed in custody and taken to the Monroe County Correctional Facility for processing. Charges are pending.
