On October 1st, 2022 at approximately 2116 hours, Pocono Township Police initiated a traffic stop on a red Chevrolet Silverado in the area of 2535 PA-715 for not having rear lights on. The driver, Derek McHugh was subsequently arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. McHugh was found in possession marijuana and related drug paraphernalia.
