On February 19, 2023, at approximately 1013 hours the Pocono Township Police Department was dispatched to Pocono Mountain Civic Club Inc. (PMCCI) for a female walking around with a knife threatening to kill people. The victim stated that the female entered his property and began waiving a knife around while making threatening remarks and statements. 

Upon canvassing the area, Officers located the suspect, who was identified to be Catherine Loux, a 58-year-old female from Scotrun, PA, at the corner of Big Hill Path and Buck Fever Trail. Officers observed Loux to be standing in the road with a baseball bat in her hand and a large knife tucked into her boot. Loux was taken into custody without incident and transported to MDJ Michael Muth's Office where she was arraigned, bail was set at $1,000 unsecured.
