On February 18th, 2023, at approximately 10:00pm, Officers of The Pocono Township Police Department were dispatched to Ski Side Court in Tannersville for a report of an intoxicated male urinating on a sidewalk. The caller reported the male was attempting to leave the area in a Chevrolet pickup. 

Upon entering the community Officers observed a Chevrolet pickup pulling sideways into a parking spot. Officers made contact with the driver of the vehicle, James Kotusky. Officers immediately observed signs of impairment from Kotusky who admitted to drinking prior to police contact. At the conclusion of the investigation Kotusky was taken into custody under the suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Kotusky was transported to the Monroe County DUI Center for chemical testing and processing, charges are pending.
