On October 18, 2022 at 1403 hours, officers responded to Route 715 by Alvin's Log Cabins for an intoxicated female that had jumped out of a vehicle and fled into the woods.  Officers patrolled the area and located Samantha R. Kelly attempting to knock on the doors of nearby residences.  

While attempting to speak with Kelly, she was observed to be extremely under the influence of alcohol and was not cooperative with officers. Officers placed Kelly under arrest, at which she attempted to bite, kick and grab officers while trying to pull away from their custody.  As officers attempted to put Kelly in the back of the patrol vehicle, she kicked the outside of the rear door and refused to get into the vehicle.  Kelly then attempted to bite another officers while trying to get her into the vehicle.

Kelly was then transported to Monroe County Correctional Facility.
