On October 4, 2025, at around 4:01 pm, the Pocono Township Police Department responded to a report of an in-progress retail theft at the Tommy Hilfiger store in the Crossings Outlets. The individual in question was seen entering the fitting room with $2,112.50 worth of merchandise, hiding it in oversized sweatpants, and then leaving the store without making a purchase. Following a two-hour search, the suspect was located at the Gap store and identified as Carlos Garcia. Garcia was subsequently charged with Felony Retail Theft, Felony Receiving Stolen Property and was placed into Monroe County Correctional Facility.
