On January 26th, 2024 at approximately 0811 hours, An Officer from Pocono Township Police Department received a complaint of identity theft. The victim stated that his father, Galvin Dudley, a 46 year-old-male from Henryville PA, applied for a loan using the victims personal information. Through further investigations, the Officer learned that Galvin Dudley was approved for the loan and used the money to purchase a home security camera system.
On May 10th, 2024 at 1340 hours, a search warrant was excuted at the residence of Galvin Dudley. Officers attempted to make contact with Galvin Dudley by knocking on the door and received no answer. Officers made entry into the house to excute the search warrant. While conducting the search warrant, Officers found three young children in the residence that were left alone. Galvin Dudley returned home while Officers were getting the children out of the resdience. Galvin Dudley was then taken into custody on a felony arrest warrant for the identity theft related charges. The sercuity system was recovered from the outside and inside of the residence.
Galvin Dudley was charged with identity theft, fraud, receiving stolen property and will be charged with endangering the welfare of a child at a later time.
