On April 15th, 2023, at approximately 1753 hours, Officers with the Pocono Township Police were dispatched to a residence on  Kevins Lane for a reported physical domestic between father and son. Upon arrival, it was determined that the offender, Richard Custred Jr had fled the scene after assaulting and choking his 11-year-old son. Officers located Custred Jr sitting in the woods behind the house. Custred Jr ignored Officers commands and resisted arrested. Custred Jr was subsequently placed into the Monroe County Correctional Facility on numerous charges.
