On April 19, 2023, at 2022 hours, Officers from the Pocono Township Police Deptartment were dispatched to 652 Cranberry Road for a physical domestic disturbance.  The caller, Lyette Conlon a 63-year-old female from Jim Thorpe, reported that her ex-husband was threatening her son with a knife and waving the knife around in the residence.  Conlon who was not at the residence at the time of the call, stated she was watching the incident on a surveillance camera set up in the residence.
Responding officers were aware that Conlon's ex-husband is bed ridden and has limited mobility and that Conlon had been trespassed from the property for harassing the ex-husband.  Conlon had also been told by officers to stop calling 911 for non-emergency calls, which she had done several times before.
Officers responded and found the ex-husband laying in his hospital bed, watching a Viking movie while holding a collector's Viking knife.  Conlon's 42 year old son was found outside cleaning his car.  Both the ex-husband and son advised that there was no domestic disturbance occurring, and that the ex-husband always wears or holds Viking collectables while watching Viking movies.  Officers found that the domestic disturbance claim was found to be false and that Conlon was just trying to get the ex-husband in trouble.
Charges were filed against Conlon at Magisterial District Judge Daniel Kresge's office for false reports to law enforcement, misuse of the 911 system, and two counts of harassment.
